Born in New York City, Angelo knew at a very young age his professional passion was two-fold, hair styling and the performing arts.

He had a thriving 35 year international professional dance career and has lived in Berlin, Osaka, Montreal, and the Philippines performing in various productions. His credits span from Broadway to Cirque du Soleil as well as national and international tours.

Post retirement from the arts, Angelo cultivated all of his creative experiences and energies to focus on the craft of hairdressing . He landed at the BENJAMIN Salon in West Hollywood, California.

His time at BENJAMIN has opened the doors to work on campaigns for TOMS, STAUD, OBAGI , Henry Rose and Spotify, as well as editorial shoots for L’Uomo Vogue, GQ, CITIZEN K, French Fries, Billboard, Teen Vogue, Fantastic Man, and Lady Gunn magazine.

Angelo has just returned to LA, after creating hairstyles for legendary musicians ; Natalie Maines, Emily Strayer, and Martie Maguire’s, The Chicks- 2023 World Tour and continues to work with his atelier clients, film & TV, music video, red carpet, and editorial projects in Los Angeles, CA.

He has styled celebrities for The Ellen Show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, The SAG Awards and The BAFTA Awards, The Latin Grammy’s, Vanity Fair Oscar Party , press tours and various red carpet events.

Music videos include: The Chicks “Gaslighter” and “How Do You Sleep At Night” ,. -Lynnea Moorer ‘s “Oxygen”, and Tyler Glenn’s “Shameless”.

Commercial credits: Old Navy, Lexus, USPS, Hyundai and Happy Feet.

He has worked on fashion shows for Tommy Hilfiger, Puma x Balmain, Addidas, and Chopard.

He has also had the opportunity to work alongside Visionaries such as Jonas Aukerlund, Michel Compte, Sebastian Kim, Diane Martel, Floria Sigismondi, Warwick Saint and Sante D’Orazio

His varied and cumulative creative experiences have fueled him to take control of his own business and brand. In the summer of 2020 Angelo opened his private studio- Atelier Angelo in Beverly Hills, California.

Angelo specializes in multi- cultural hair textures as well as various hair extension methods. He is also known for his tailored, precision cuts, effortless undone hair styling as well as creating cutting-edge 60’s and 70’s- punk inspired looks.
